Top theme park, Alton Towers, has just opened a new ride, 'Rita-Queen of Speed' 0-100kmph in just 2.8seconds, be sure to check it out, along with Air, Nemesis, Oblivion, and many other great rides. Staffordshire County Showground has events on almost every weekend, check out the website for the individual shows and dates. Ranging form farm shows to dog trials, antique & craft fairs to motor shows, there is always a lot to see and do at Staffordshire County Showground, less than a 15min drive for Highfields Farm B&B.

These include the Wedgewood Museum, (Barlaston), the Gladstone Working Pottery Museum (Etruria) and many other smaller museums including the Flint Mill (Leek).
